Mr. Stewart’s education includes a J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a B.A. in Business Administration and Legal Studies from Central Michigan University, where he attended on a full athletic scholarship for wrestling. Prior to college, he attended Catholic Central High School, where he was a three-time Michigan State Champion and All-American wrestler. Some of Mr. Stewart’s academic accomplishments include serving on the Moot Court team and receiving Book Awards in Civil Procedure and Torts.

Mr. Stewart is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan, as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan.

Mr. Stewart’s practice includes civil litigation, business law, corporate transactions, and estate planning. Throughout his career, he has litigated and arbitrated more than one hundred matters ranging from small disputes to complex, multi-million-dollar commercial cases. He represents businesses and individuals in both state and federal courts, handling all phases of litigation, including client counseling, factual investigations, discovery, depositions, bench and jury trials, and private arbitration.

In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Stewart advises businesses on a wide range of corporate matters, including business sales, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, governance, contractual matters, and regulatory compliance. He works closely with business owners to help them navigate growth, transitions, and long-term planning while minimizing legal risk.

Mr. Stewart also assists individuals and families with comprehensive estate planning. He prepares customized estate plans designed to preserve assets and carry out each client’s wishes, including wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, and patient advocate designations. Mr. Stewart has also presented numerous seminars on Estate Planning.
