Mr. Morello is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.S.A. in Finance and Managerial Economics, with High Honors), the University of Notre Dame Law School (J.D.), where he was a Higgins Scholar and Notre Dame Law School Scholar and the University of Notre Dame Graduate Business School (M.B.A. in Accounting and Taxation, with Honors). Mr. Morello was a law clerk for Michigan Supreme Court Justice Patricia J. Boyle during law school. He is a member of the Michigan State Bar sections on Probate and Estate Planning, Taxation and Elder Law. Mr. Morello's primary areas of practice include: Estate Planning; Tax Planning; Wills; Trusts and Estates; Probate and Trust Administration; Business Law; and Business Planning. Mr. Morello has personally developed over 7,500 Estate Plans over the past 18 years. Mr. Morello is a frequent speaker on estate and business planning; he was the featured Estate Planning Attorney for the October, 2008 and March, 2009 WWJ (AM 950) Michigan Money Summit, and has discussed these issues on WJR AM radio and at numerous professional associations, corporations and charitable organizations including General Motors Corporation, Ford Motor Company, IBM, Detroit Edison, Oakland County Pre-Retirement Program, Detroit Urban League, The Knights of Columbus, at numerous banks, credit unions and investment firms.

Mr. Fekaris' education includes: J.D. University of Detroit School of Law during which time he served as law clerk for the Wayne State University Office of General Counsel and Comerica Corporate Legal Department; and B.A. in Business Administration, Michigan State University.  Mr. Fekaris' primary areas of practice include: Estate Planning; Trust Administration; Probate; Contested Estates; Medicaid; Commercial Litigation; Collections; Real Estate; and Family Law. He is admitted to practice in Michigan's State Courts and Eastern Federal District Court. Mr. Fekaris is knowledgeable in the Greek language and is past president of the Hellenic Bar Association of Michigan. He is a member of the Delta Theta Phi International Law Fraternity, and a member of the State Bar of Michigan sections on Probate, Elder Law, Real Estate and Family Law. Ron Thompson is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.G.S. In Business and Psychology), Boston University (M.B.A. in Management and Marketing) and the University of Detroit Law School (J.D.); Ron served as President of the University of Detroit Student Bar Association and was Associate Editor of the University of Detroit Law Review; and is the author of several University of Detroit Law Review articles. Ron served twelve years as a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps and was selected for promotion to Major. Ron served as assistant Dean at the University of Detroit Law School. Ron is admitted to practice in the State Courts of both Michigan and Ohio and the Eastern and Western Federal District courts of Michigan. Mr. Emmitt is a graduate of Wayne State University (B.A. in Political Science) and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law (J.D.).  While in law school, Mr. Emmitt was a member of Law Review and served as a Title Editor.  Mr. Emmitt was also elected and served as president of his class and served on the Student Bar Association's Board of Governors.   Some of Mr. Emmitt's academic accomplishments include receiving Book Awards in Estates and Trusts, Estate and GIft Tax, Remedies and Torts.  While completing his undergraduate coursework, Mr. Emmitt was a pitcher for Wayne State's varsity baseball team.

Erin E. Mortenson, Esq.

Ms. Mortenson's primary areas of practice are probate law, estate administration and planning, elder law, veterans law, Medicaid planning and small business planning.  Ms. Mortenson's education includes: J.D., University of Detroit Mercy School of Law; B.A. in history from Michigan State University, a certification in secondary education from Michigan State University.  While earning her law degree, Ms. Mortenson was a member of Law Review and a recipient of the Sr. Emily George, R.S.M. Public Interest Law Fellowship and French Scholarship Competitive Fellowship.  Prior to her employment with Morello Law Group, P.C., Ms. Mortenson was an adjunct law and English professor at Universite d' Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand, France.  She is a member of the Michigan State Bar sections on Business Law; Elder Law and Disability; Probate and Estate Planning; and a member of the American Bar Association Sections on Real Property, Trust and Estate Law, and the Young Lawyers Division.
